Powerboating sometimes is a full year sport. The series is from january to december but its some months off due to logistics and other issues. So when you are a driver what do you do?

Pal Virik Nilsen and his Australian partner Tom Barry - Cotter vent down to Dubai a week in advance to test the equipment and to be best possible prepared for the season. It gave a positive result and they where among the front runners when the official program started in Dubai.  

Very happy with third place and the podium in today's race. Finally our team got some well deserved positive flow in XCAT. It was good that we had a tough game in all the rounds and met very competitive boats all the way up. It strengthens our confidence and we look forward to the main race...

First action day is over here in Dubai with XCAT Powerboat World Series . On the first free practice we had the sixth best time. Not our goal, but we are quite pleased as a start. We know the potential are higher and we have more in our back pocket. That's for sure. So, hopefully tomorrow will...
