Next week in Grimstad the world F2 Championship countinues with round 3. Norwegian Pal Virik Nilsen is currently in second place overall but will do his best to hunt down the leader and get first position back.
Last race in Stockholm, Sweden was a big dissapointment for Steni team and Pal Virik Nilsen. After a very bad start and down to eight place Pal drove up to a good second place before crashing out in a high speed corner. Pal retired with zero point for the championship. He escaped with some back damage and a broken rib. But now he is fit and ready to kick back in the Norwegian round @ "home" soil.
Pal says: Yes, Sweden was a big down trip for us. I guess i destroyed my chance to take the F2 title this year, my only goal. So now my mind is on the Grimstad round and to get the team back on track and hopefully back on the top of the podium. Cant waith to get started after the summer break.
