Pål Virik Nilsen attended the press conference held in Arendal regarding the season 2011 and Norwegian Grand Prix. A lot of positive things is underway both for the race in Arendal but also regarding the future of Class-1 world championship.

Pål Virik Nilsen will make a return to Class-1 offshore world powerboat series, already in the opening round in Abu Dhabi 13-15 april. He will take the throttles alongside Italian Giorgio Manuzzi in the British team "Chris Parsonage Racing". 

Pål Virik Nilsen will be present at the Norwegian boatshow in Lillestrøm just outside Oslo. Pål will have the Swedish GeTel Formula 2 DAC represented on the stand.

The Norwegian powerboat racer Pål Virik Nilsen gets the NMF scholarship for 2011 season. The only powerboat driver to have received the NMF scholarship earlier is Bjørn Rune Gjelsten. Pål is also nominated to recieve the 2011 scholarship from "Olympiatoppen"
