Pål Virik Nilsen is back in the World Class-1 Championship this week in Norwegian Grand Prix, Arendal. Together with San Marino driver Giorgio Manuzzi and English Chris Parsonage racing team. Påls ambitions is not the biggest but he hope for a pretty good result with the equipment they have.
The highlight race of the year is this week in Arendal. The narrow and close course brings the Class-1 fleet together for the hardest and closest race on the calendar this season. After two seventh places in Abu Dhabi Pål Virik Nilsen and Giorgio Manuzzi aims to improve that but Pål keeps the ambition a bit down.
Pal says: I really look forward to race in Arendal again, its always a joy.
I know Giorgio and myself will improve the cooperation we started in UAE. When it comes to results we need to be realistic and just work on the boat and propeller setup. We will race with the same Lamborghini engine package we had in Abu Dhabi, but with new exhaust system within the rules.
The main thing is propeller and setup. I mean, the boat has almost never run with the mandatory "five axis" propellers that gives the boat a different handling. Therefor i think we need more time to test gears, weights etc. before we can aim for better results. I know the team is working flat out to develop and i am sure we will make progress during the weekend in Norway.
