This week is the start of the Class-1 world championship in Abu Dhabi UAE. Ten teams will be on the start line. Pal Virik Nilsen is ready alongside Italian Giorgio Manuzzi in Chris Parsonage Racing team.
The course is quite interesting with the start going off-shore and a narrow lane into the inside of the breakwater. Its a race that much will be a battle for a good start. A challenge for the teams is to find the perfect setup that both suits outside and inside racing.
Pal says: I look forward to get started this week. I hope the equipment is in good shape and Giorgio and myself can find good speed and handeling straight away. I am also glad we will be joined by ex spirit of Norway crew Rolf Arnestad and Andres Vemork. Nice to have some Norwegians in the team. Its a good mixture with Englishmen, Italians and Norwegians. Cross your fingers for a good season start!
