The city of Larvik will host the Norwegian Grand Prix 2012 and futher two years after that. That means its the last time Class-1 visit Arendal. At least for some years. Larvik is a city on the Norwegian south coast just in between of Oslo and Arendal.
Larvik with a population of just 40 000 people will for sure be pleased to have this attention for some years. Lets hope for sucsess and we know many of the key staff in Arendal will also join the new host of the Norwegian Grand Prix. We wish them good luck!
Pal says: Its sad the race goes away from Arendal in many ways with the history and the great atmosphere the city gives to the race. But for me its also very nice that Larvik gets it. Larvik is almost my hometown and i grew up just 15 min drive from the city. I have many friends there and its just 20 minutes drive away from my town Sandefjord. So i guess we will see many local patriots and friends on the race. The course will also be interesting because the ocean comes straight in and will cause some waves and real Offshore conditions. Thats what we like.
