The Norwegian Grand Prix has turned out to be a real nightmare for Parsonage racing. Pal Virik Nilsen and Giorgio Manuzzi has retired totaly from the event with not even a lap around the course. Some technical errors has forced the team to withdraw and pack the stuff for the hometrip to England.
Its a fact, but the team tried all they got to repair the faults. After yesterdays practice with only problems the team believed in better luck today. But that did not happend. After changing one engine the team was positive to join the race. After starting the engines for test the team found a failure on the new exhaust system. A failure that can be dangerous because of overheat and possible fire. Therefor the decition to retire even before the start was taken due to safety of pilots. Next up is Stresa and Parsonage racing needs to prepare better this time.
Pal says: I am so dissapointed and frustrated about this on behalf of the entire team. I know the guys is doing their best but this failure is nothing they can be blamed for. I now just want to forget this fast, look forward to the Italy race and get some testing with modifications to the boat in between.
