This weekend Pal Virik Nilsen and Tom Barry-Cotter will race the 6th round of the Australian superboat series. The team is prepared to make a revenge on the poor performance in the last four events. The Mustang boat is now out of reach to grab the "Aus 1" title for the third time. On saturday its time for pole position in Redcliffe just outside Brisbane, with the main race on sunday.
Pal says: We need to get seat time and finish this one. I believe the team has done the necessary work to get more reliability in the boat. And the test last week felt good says Tom. I feel now very good for the boat handlingwise but our DNFs are just to many for the moment. Last time we won this event and hopefully we can copy that this weekend also! Its a shame we cant defend the title anymore but single race wins together with reliability is now main priority.
