Today was a much better day for Mustang. Tom Barry-Cotter and Pal Virik Nilsen set the two fastest laps of the day, with an average speed of 190 km/h around the course. Second was Maritimo and third Qatar 96. It will be two good races on Sunday in sunny Townsville.
Pole position today saw the Frier brothers in "The good guys" crash their Maritimo built boat. Both crew is okay, but will sadly not race tomorrow.
