The Mackay grand prix did not turn out to be a success for Tom Barry-Cotter and Pal Virik Nilsen In the boat "MUSTANG". First race today sunday they did not even reach the start lineup.
A blowerbelt problem forced them to go back to pit for a repair before race two. But sadly enough the same story came in the next race as well on lap three. Mustang also had a big spinnout before the stop few meters after.

Pal says: Its just so frustrating, but what can you do? I feel sorry for our engine builder Kurt and the rest of the crew who puts all their efford in this, and today we failed big time. Its just to forget this and focus on next weekend. I believe that everything is better there. Congratulations to Sheik Hassan and Steve Curtis in Qatar 96 fortheir win this weekend. We promise you guys more competition next week.
