We stopped today on the very first lap. I had an alarm on one engine with low oil pressure. I tried to restart the system many times but it came back. We just had to stop and retire from the race.
We had a good start and was in the lead by 20 m when this thing happened. When we got back in the drypit the team found out that it was a false alarm and was caused by a broken sensor. Very bad but we did not want to destroy the engine anyway.
It was extremely bad conditions on the course with 6 foot waves along with a 6 foot chop.
