We had a great start today and got the lead early. SIMRAD with Luke and Peter came on the side of us after the first turn. Then we knew our speed not was enought. In turn two we gave everything and side by side with SIMRAD we took a very fast and sharp turn.
That gave us a lead of approx 100 meter. We held that lead in four-five laps until one engine stoppet.
Very sad but we where also happy to be able to keep the lead due to lower speed. Our boat had good acceleration today who was nice on this course but maybe stressed the engines to much. Anyway we and the team are happy with this season to get first and second place in the Championship. Congratulations to Luke and Peter with their victory and to Bill, Rosco with second today.
