We are extremely happy with our race victory today. After a poor start we really pushed hard in the first corner. We where able to pass SIMRAD and ACME on the outside in this fast corner.
After that we where in the lead for the rest of the race. SIMRAD got second and IMPACT STEEL the third.
A nice race with tens of thousands of Sydneysiders flocked to the harbour foreshore – while thousands more were trackside onboard more than 2000 spectator boats. A great day for offshore powerboating and a perfect race for Maritimo.
Thanks to all team members for this victory! Now we have the next and last round in the championship in Townsville in mid june.
