To finish first, first you have to finish. Thats a good comment on todays Class-1 race. We had problems with one fuel injector so the boat was really hard to get on plain. After a few tries we managed to get it going. The rest of our competitors where long gone.

We started to chase them but struffered very low acceleration due to the injector and a to long setup. After half race we where on 4th place before we passed "Impact steel". "Acme" racing got engine problems and stopped. On the 9th lap we passed also "SIMRAD" who had been in the lead from the start. They suffered a commond blower belt problem on their Mercurys. Then we where in the lead and could hold on to it until the flag got up. I really feel sorry for Luke and Rossco in the "SIMRAD" boat. They deserved first place today. But thats racing and everything can and will sometime happens.
Two wins in two weeks is really perfect. We are very happy with it. Now we are looking for the next round in Sydney on 8th of march.
Many thanks to all team members for exellent work during theese races. A special thanks to Bill and Lesley Barry-Cotter for everything on this trip.
See you all in Sydney!
