Was held in Kotka, Finland this weekend. The race was not in our luck at all. Before the saturday race we did do some testing and change the setup for some waves. When the start went on we realised that the waves was gone and therefor the setup was to small.
The leading pack went of and we had no change to follow. The race ended in a big dissapointet 6th place. On the sunday race we had the same weather. The setup on the boat got changed and we where with the leaders right away. But on the second lap we had problems with the out trim. A solinoid was dead and we could not trim out. When this happens it is like driving a car in one gear, who is impossible when racing. Therefor we had to retire from the race on lap 2. The positive thing with this weekend was that we did get back our old speed on flat water and. Congratulations to Marcus Johnsson from Finland with the European title for 05!
