A hard race for me! Really nice to race on home waters in Tønsberg, Norway. A huge cred to the organizers Re Motorsport for exelent event with over 25000 spectators around the course.
For us it has been a hard weekend with lot of adjustment both on the boat and myself to get things better. We learn more and more about the boat and i am sure the podium is reachable pretty soon.
Today i had a terrible start and i was 3-4 seconds behind from the start pontoon due to a poor engine start.
Anyway, i started and hunted down eight nine boat on the first straight! After that the race was all about defending myself from the boats behind me. I got ninth place in the end. Best Norwegian driver. A result we are not so happy with but at least we are on the right track and we now look forward to the next WC round in Switzerland!
